∆ Just paid my Deposit to Dr.Chettawut for SRS + Trachea Shave.
∆ Date confirmed for the 27th of December.
∆ Flights booked, for some extortionate amount of money!

Hello, i apologise for resending but i did not think i had been specific enough.

My SRS Recomendation letter arrived not 15minutes ago, so i sorted it out ready to attach and e-mail [you should findit attached].

SURGERY: SRS + Trachea Shave
HEIGHT: 178c [5' 11"]
WEIGHT: 60.3 Kg [133lb's]
UNDERLYING CONDITION: None
PAST MAJOR SURGERY: None

Previously you said the 27th December for surgery was free, if so then id love that still.

If it is not, then any date between the 20th of December and 14th of January would be great instead!

I have the money to pay the Deposit instantly, and in full within 1 week.

Dr.Curtis is sending me my SRS recomendation letter on monday, so i can book the earliest date between the 20th of December and 18th of January, then! ^^

In other news, i got some more SRS info sorta :-

:: Dr.Chet' has the 27th available for surgery, so leaving on the 23rd. Expensive but i like the early date.

:: Flights are expensive sadly, nearer £900. >.<

:: But my Mum is getting a loan out for me to pay her back, as i cant get one ^^

:: Max is STILL happy to come! yay!

Hello hello ^^,

Wanted to write some bits down before work to sort of unload them:


Work Uniform - I put off getting the female smart uniform for ages, and i love being smartly dressed at work. Finally got them during the week, but now today's the first day to wear them [Skirt and Blouse] and im almost to scared to >.<.

I was trying the m on yesterday to make sure they fit and can't shake the feeling that i look and walk like a guy in a skirt when wearing them. I'll wear them anyway to provve a point to myself, but today will wear my nerves thing i think.


SRS Thoughts - This one i like! I've really been thinking about doing it sooner rather than later, waiting doesnt gain me anything and makes it harder Masters Degree / Dissertation wise. Atm im looking at Doctor Chettawut and end of December time, money can magically appear im sure. Just need to wait till Wednesday and get the ok for a letter from Dr.Curtis which wouldnt be a problem ^^

It'd be so nice to just be over there, get it done, come back.. and not think about it people noticing anymore. Not just aesthetic but that is a large part to me.

Friend wise Max should be coming, he doesnt want to help with Dilation [like id want anyone to watch, eww :P] but he can pay his own way and be great company ^^

Im here! ^^

Arrived in Derby earlier today and spent the day wandering about with Alex. Then enjoyed a nice film back at her place ^^

Mucho happiness at the moment, she's working early at 5am though so time to sleep soon - i'll make a nice long journal entry covering the weekend's happenings, tomorow morning sometimes.

*yawns*

Walked home, just barely this morning, ready for the evilness that is a paying job.

Last night was great, a lot more waiting around but was a fun time when we was there. The only downside was the oh-my-god-expensive! drinks, £4.90 for a double and lemonade / orange. Managed to make my 2 drinks last the night though and in that time (about 3 hours) me and Sara read 2 Trans people and some guy with a fetish for wearing dresses O.o, oh and a FtM we think on the train back, which was a coincidence if they were.

Thanks for the comments everyone keeps posting, nice to see people DO read these things as lord knows im not interesting enough to just talk about my life all the time.

- Leave in 30minutes for my friend Sara's, get to her for 2pm.
- Leave hers and catch a train to Oxford Street, London arriving at 3:30pm.
- Shop for new shoes to match my skirt for tonight, and eat [6pm].
- Hurry to my friend Jason's, and get changed to go to th gay-bar he invited me to, arrive at 7pm.
- Enjoy the night till 11pm.
- Come HOME! Get a cab to Sara's, arrive by 1am.
- Sleep, wake up at 9am, power-walk home by 10am, get changed for work by midday.
- Work till 8pm!
- Sort and pack stuff, then sleep by 10:30pm.
- Get up at 6am to leave and catch a Coach in London at 8:30am to Derby [up north].
- Arrive at midday on Sunday..

Enjoy 4 days of fun with my girlfriend Alex ^.- *coughs*

If i get chance to breather throughout that, i'll be happy O.O; this entry took 5minutes, oh noes! Still have to wax my hair, put makeup on, pack my satchel, and make some packed lunches [london food is expensive! :O]!

I wish id woken up earlier but was on Warcraft till 4am -.-

Took off a bit more than i wanted originally, but i like the result.

Was at work from 4-8pm today, ended up having a chat with the store manager of the Somerfield where i work. Only a small store so we generally speak to him directly.

Wanted to bring up about next year, as ill need access to a changing room some nights during the week. Now i allready use the bathroom, and told him that, and he said 'technically' he's meant to get permission from every staff member due to my stage in transition. Well i thought that was fine (i was expecting it), but then during the convo he basically said;

"Well, for now lets just play it by ear and see if anyone is bothered by it when you do use it. Any complaints and we'll look into them, but the law is on your side."

That cheered me up a little. What else cheered me up is how it doesnt seem weird people calling me she or her anymore, or miss.. little old ladied calling me young-lady makes me squirm a little but it sounds so prim and proper :P

Nice night at work, good food after, and good amounts of Detectie shows on TV [NCIS, CSI and Dexter (he's so hot! - and no, not the cartoon =.=)].

Morning el'blogo, was surfing around so thought id post something new again. Thanks for the replies about my picture, im still not convinced but meh, maybe i spend to long looking at myself.

Got another Dr.C [Curtis] appointment and more IPL in a few weeks, going to ask him about various SRS / Traech Shave options, just for reference. After 2 years i finally get to go to CHX in October, and i want to make it abundantly clear that i need to know whether they will refer me for NHS surgery after 2 years RLT [i started in September 2006], or have me wait 2 years from seeing them.

If the first option, then i spend my savings on Traech Shave as i needs it T.T

If option B, then their will be much moodyness on my part as well as trying to find loans off of Banks / Friends / Family, possibly even ruin my university plan to afford it by taking a year out *sigh*.


Oh yes i never explained about that, im currently in my 3rd year of my Undergraduate Degree called 'Software Systems for the Arts and Media' which i enjoy because it deals with Cybercultures and Digital Identity, and then my plan was a 3 year masters in Librarianship [first year is a work placement, but not sure on the money, if any], and then 3 years on a PhD if i can get one - just as Librarianship leads onto it so nicely. Im scared if i stop ill go back to how i was study-habit-wise, before i started to transition, and that thought really scares me.


Yet m ore waiting i guess, not much else to do is there hehe. Right, off to eat some breakkie and spend some time on games i think. ^^

I dislike cameras, they shatter self-confidence so easily.

Was fiddling around with this new iChat client that loaded up after adding someone to my LJ, and my god i look so thick necked, square jawed, gormless, and guyish.. really wasn't what i wanted after a day at work. Work isn't exactly my best place to be, i don't reall manage to come across as feminine in the uniform and end up with about 1 in 5 people just assuming im a guy. Multiple days in a row are even worse heh.

That's what annoys me about myself, it feels like im obviously missing some key thing, or just not trying hard enough. Ok i have only been on hormones for 11 months, but i thought [naively i guess] that things would be a little easier by now - everyone says to just hang it out for another year and see how much better things are then, but a year isnt now.

Bleh life may be good generally, but my looks stress me out; here's a quick collage i threw together from my snapshot taking.
